Pitsch Family Reunion

Img_1598_2 Better late than never to post about the wonderful Pitsch Family Reunion on Saturday, August 4, 2007 in Appleton Wisconsin.  Here are six of the ten Joe and Dorothy children: Front row: my dad, Uncle John, Aunt Barb, Dee, Uncle Mike.  Back row: Aunt Sandy, Aunt Jeannie, my mom, Aunt Sara, Tim.  They’re a fun and lively bunch.  It was very fun to all get together again since the last time we gathered was my Grandmother’s funeral this past Easter.  They played a fun game called "Mom would have wanted you to have this" with some items that weren’t claimed after cleaning Grandma and Grandpa’s house out.  Everyone went home with a little something special that day.Img_1596_2 Then we have the next two generations, aka the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  I’m afraid to guess how many there are might I mbe wrong, I know I’m #7 on the grandchildren list and there’s gotta be at least 20 some grandkids and at least 10 great-grandkids.  We’re a big happy family, that’s for sure!  Rumor has it that next year’s reunion might be held in Sterling, Illinois at Andy and Nancy Pitsch’s residence and it will be an overnight, campout adventure.  Andy and I are sure excited about it!  Here’s a few more pictures for you to enjoy:

Here are the Lienau’s, Jen (a former Pitsch) and New Job Nate Dawg making the trip from Sycamore Illinois just for the day – what happy troopers they are!  Andy and I got to ride back with them and catch up on what’s going on in their lives.  Nate just got a new job but for more details check out their site, I’m sure they’ll be posting about it soon!  They’ve got a little over a year of marriage under their belt and still look so cute and in love!  Awwwwwwwww!

Aren’t we adorable?  You may recognize the beautiful and talented Angela who blessed us by singing at our wedding.  Her boyfriend, Nick, is very cool and fits into the Pitsch family humor like a glove!  We wish we lived closer to them so we could hang out with them more.  We figured out that since Angela sings, Nick plays guitar and my dad drums a Pitsch family band coudl be formed.  Perhaps they’ll make an appearance at next year’s reunion?!?!?!  You’ll have to come and find out.  Andy and I will be there…will you?
